Take the sentence for good, because Gates has repeatedly opened his mouth to much more serious nonsense. As the various attempts to minimize the importance of the then nascent Internet in favor of MSN. We all know how that turned out: MSN as it was originally intended is dead, and now Microsoft is the market leader on the Internet.
now return, however, the sentence of 640K. The phrase is commonly dated 1981. In 1984, after a glorious advertising Apple had the Macintosh, which was only 128KB of memory. Definitely bit and in fact after a few months, Apple had to rebuild the accounts and quadruple the RAM included in his toy, taking it at 512K three years before Bill Gates was more farsighted.
The story could still continue as it is very difficult to find only 2 GB of memory on a laptop with a tag of 900 €.
